Technician

 

Restoration Aid is seeking a full time Technician to join our team of restoration experts and contribute to the current growth and expansion of our company.

 

We work with residential and commercial disaster restoration accounts and specialize in water damage restoration and fire damage mitigation as well as mold remediation. We are an emergency response outfit and are on call 24/7.

 

Our Toronto restoration office is looking for a detail-oriented, hardworking, and motivated Technician. The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience in Water Damage Restoration/Construction, as well as a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

 

Qualifications and requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with reconstruction, construction, restoration, or similar work environment.

• Certified in Water Damage Restoration a plus

• Construction experience is a plus.

• Must be able to travel to worksite locations.

• Must be able to work after hours.

• Must be able to be “on call” duty.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and have a clean background/driving record with no felonies.

 

Specific Skills Required

• Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals including homeowners, property managers and insurance agents.

• Strong sense of ownership.

• Self-starter with a high level of initiative and attention to detail.

• Team player.
